After proper consideration and the reduction in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in New Zealand, the government decided to ease some of its Lockdown restriction in the country with this achievement.

Furthermore, the country have not recorded any confirmed case of COVID-19 for straight 11 days now. With this result, the government of New Zealand is critically considering wether to lift completely the Lockdown and Gathering Restriction.

Jacinda Ardern, the Prime minister of New Zealand made this known to the public in her statement. She informed the Press that the tendency for the Country to lift its Lockdown & Gathering restriction is high as she boast of the measure they took to fight the virus. In her speech she said;

“Our strategy of go hard, go early has paid off,”
